Jeep body mount issue

Hey all, I just thought I would post a quick question about my 2018 jeep wrangler JK rubicon body mounts.

Basically I was in a low speed head on accident and recently got my jeep back from being repaired through insurance. It needed a new bumper and a support brace of some sort totaling around $1400 cdn.

As soon as I got the car back I noticed it has a vibration at idle and lower rpm. I mentioned this issue to the insurance company and the shop when i dropped it off but the mechanics said that they didn't see anything wrong. they also said they had an alignment done just in case (not sure why)

So today I took it to a local shop an asked for an opinion. When it was up on the hoist he noticed the vibration was coming from a bad transmission mount. he also noticed that the body has shifted on the frame so the body mounts are bent (I attached a pic of on of the mounts as an example.

they also said the transfer case is leaking and needs a new seal (not sure if that could also be related top the accident or not?)

I took the jeep home and have emailed my insurance to figure out if they are going to repair this or not.

my question to you is this body mount issue something that is a big deal or is it something that doesn't necessarily have to be repaired? if it does require repairing how long do you think the jeep would be out of commission for? I have a trip I will be taking with the jeep soon so I'm trying to figure out where stand with this being safe to operate with the body mounts the way they are in the pic.

thanks for reading

The body's not going to fall off but if the mount bolt is loose you'll have a noise coming from there when hitting bumps probably. Are all the body mounts like the one in the picture?

The ones on the driver's side were like that (at least 2 that I saw) and the passenger's side ones seemed pretty decent and straight from what I could tell. I plan on getting any damaged body mounts repaired through insurance so just hoping it wont take too long for them to get it done at this point. It doesn't seem like anything I need to worry about safety wise until that happens at least.

You just had it in the body shop following a crash and they didn't notice the bent body mounts?
That is correct. they also didn't notice that the transmission mount needs to be replaced because its causing a vibration at idle and low rpm. I am taking it back to them on Monday with the estimate from the new shop. Hopefully they will rectify this situation and fix it back to the way it was before the crash.

Sounds like the first thing you need to fix is your choice of body shop...
