Is this cost too high for a gear upgrade?

Is $2,100 too much to for a ring and pinion upgrade. Front and rear being done, going from 3.21 to 4.56. The kit is about $700 and the carriers $125. each (I think). $1,200 for labor seems high. Shop labor rate is $125.00 an hour. I'd be curious what others paid if they didn't do it themselves.

I don't think that sounds to high for the labor, there's quite a few hours just involved in the tear down and put back together.

Is $125 for a open carrier or a locker?
