So sure looks like I need to have the the oil cooler / filter housing replaced, haven't noticed any drop in oil level yet though. I am hoping to have it fixed through the dealer where I bought it.. (used) Its a 2015 JKUR w /50,000 miles. I have looked around and see everything from 3yr, 100k to 7yr, 70k but since I'm doing nothing right now thought I would ask on here. I dont really want to tackle myself, I sure I could do it but if its covered by warranty, even better. Thanx.

It should be 3 years / 36,000 mile basic and 5 years / 60,000 miles powertrain.

Being as though yours is a 2015, you may or may not qualify. You'll have to call the dealer to find out for sure.

Thanx so much for the reply I planned on calling them in the morning, just to be sure. Now that I think about it I also got an extended warranty, had it for 2 yrs now but I believe there's a deductible involved. Thanx again

Well, if you have an extended warranty you should be covered. There's the deductible of course, but if it's low enough, it's worth it.

So I called Jeep Chrysler today and asked about my factory warranty and was told that mine expired March 16th however because I have only 50k on it they started a "ticket" I'm taking it to the dealership this week. Before she can tell me that its covered or not they need a diagnosis from the dealer. She also said most likely as a courtesy it will be covered.. yeh for me..
