So my 2014 jku had from previous owner an aftermarket pioneer w/ bluetooth radio. I was hoping the uconnect module would still be in the dash so i can follow along with stingers integrated heigh10 installation video on youtube. Nope. No uconnect, but theres a Maestro module, version "ads-mrr".

Searching ebay, used uconnect modules vary wildly in price, with or without wire harnesses. I dont know which exact one to get and if I absolutely need it to continue this installation and have access to all the offroad gauges and features in the Heigh10. Or will this Maestro module afford me those features (even though the pioneer radios gauges feature never worked, giving me an ODBII connection error)? The inside of my car will remain looking like a bomb hit it until i can get this sorted out. What a fuckn bummer during midway thru install. Could use some help. Thank you :)

The iDatalink you found works just like the uconnect. I would hope the previous owner had it "flashed" but since you had OBD errors and displays not working, I'm going to assume PO did not have it "flashed". You'll need to plug the module into a computer or laptop and download the appropriate firmware so it can work correctly.

Thank you for that info. Well, i proceeded with the install anyway since i had to only reroute a usb plug out of the maestro module. I was able to get everything going and so far everything works in regards to gauge / vehicle info, bluetooth, steeringwheel controls, and all that.
