I have a new, was installed temporarily Insane Audio head unit. The unit came to me as a JK2001 and then upgraded itself to the newer software to become a JL3001.
This unit is plug-n-play for a factory system replacement. Steering controls work and I have the aftermarket piece for Apple carplay. This is a great stock replacement system and can be upgraded with multiple preouts including sub, multiple cameras and all sorts of Android apps. 3 year warranty with lifetime support too.
I upgraded all the other pieces of my system like speakers and amps to a point that exceeded the capabilities on this radio. Otherwise it works and even has the screen protector on it still.
