If I have the Flashpaq F5 would the Pedal Comander be advantageous or not?

I am not sure. I am really new to this. I just had the whole thing rebuilt from the ground up and I'm trying to learn.

If I have the Flashpaq F5 would the pedal comander be an advantage or not?
Sincerely,
Bruce

Kind of two different things.

The superchips flashpaq is a fault code reader, does things like set the spedometer depending on tire size changes, sets gear ratios, does performance tuning on the engine for different octane gas, allows control of other things like lights, turn signals, etc.

The pedal commander increases the response of the gas pedal by adjusting the signal sent to the computer.

You could indeed run both.

I wasn't sure if the Flashpaq had that option or not, I know the Pedal Commander just plugs in between the pedal and harness going to the engine.

Yeah the superchips has a flashcal and a flashpaq, which is the same device with two different software installs on it. You can purchase a firmware/software upgrade for a flashcal to make it a flashpaq.

Difference between those two is the flashcal is basically a "JScan" alternative, where the Flashpaq adds tuning options for whatever octane.

I think the pedal commander just controls the signal to the computer that controls the throttle body, allowing it to open/close much faster than you can otherwise by just pushing the gas pedal.

Yes I have the PC and it really wakes up the laggy pedal, well worth the money.

I've been considering this upgrade for a bit- couple questions if I may?
1. Any JScan tuning or settings need to be adjusted after installation?
2. Mounting the controller- where did you guys put yours?

If your asking about the PC no adjustments required after connection, the PC also has a Blue Tooth App so you can use your Phone and then put the PC's box out of sight. I just have my PC's control box laying on my center counsel because it won't stay on the dash where I put it.

Thanks so much for the input! I really appreciate it.
