Have you ever wondered why they manufacture most of the Jeep Wranglers with a black fender? They do so because they know that you will take your Jeep off-roading and abuse it, so instead of ruining your fender's paint and scratching it, they thought black fenders make for easy touch ups. If you do moderate to extreme off-roading, you will end up scratching the plastic fenders on your Jeep, and that's OK because you're supposed to do that; if you don't scratch your fenders, then you're not doing it right. Removing the fenders gives you the freedom of doing anything you want to them. Whether you want to replace them with new ones or you just want to remove them for easier off-road trail visibility, removing fenders have never been easier. Read this guide to learn how you can remove your front and rear fenders on the Jeep Wrangler.

Step 2 – Remove fender
After you've removed the fender clips, grab the fender, lift it up and pull while wiggling it. Continue to do so gently until it comes off. Repeat the same process for the other three fenders to remove them.

Step 3 – Install fender
The installation of the fender is the reverse of removal. Align the fender in place, then push it in to get the pins of the fenders into the holes on the Jeep. When the fender is tightly in place, install the plastic clips in place.
