How many wheels and tires can you fit inside a stock 2-door JK?

3 inside the jeep: 2 laying flat in the back, one standing up right either in front of the 2 laying down/on top of one another or 1 standing up behind the 2 laying down. travel without the spare tire for another mounting location.. as for the 5th tire, might get away with lowering the soft top and strapping it to the roll cage. However if you current wheels/tires are smaller, swap the tires before you travel this way the smaller tires would fit better in the back of the jeep.

thanks for that response - I was really hoping the answer was 4 inside - lol. Would stacking 3 flat be too tall?

Your best option is if you have smaller wheels/tires currently on your jeep, this would be a better way to transport. You could stack them but the soft top would have to be down and you'll need to strap the wheels to the roll cage. It's not that you can't get all of these in the jeep. you're looking at a weight issues. Hope you've upgrade your suspension and have the gears to pull it. Plus not have too far to drive or very many hills.
