How do you remove the power mirror switch on a JK?

I need to replace my power mirror switch. Dose it just pop out or does the dash panel need to be removed?

It pops out. It has little spring clips on the sides as seen in the photo below:

Just wanted to say thank for the tip about replacing the mirror switch. Mine went out on a trip to New Hampshire, and with my wife and I sharing the driving, that switch was needed!
