Hi guys, I have a high mileage (169,00) 2011 wrangler Jk with the 3.8 engine..I'm going to replace both oil pan gaskets due to a upper oil pan leak.. My question is, would you go ahead and change the main and rod bearings also ????

Just my opinion if you spent the money to replace the lower bearings the rings would then get worn out before the new set of bearings did. Unless the bearings had alot of wear I probably wouldn't.

Engine running well, the only noise I hear is a small start up noise that goes away in a second after the first start of the day.....I'll just change the gaskets and leave it alone. THANKS...
