Hi! I'm new here and looking to gain/share knowledge. After decades of daily driving CJ's and Tj's I recently purchased a very clean 2015 JKU Rubi with an incomplete 4.5" lift that someone cheaped out on. On the upside they purchased mostly quality components, stayed at the mall and didn't do any damage; on the downside, they only installed what was absolutely necessary to do the lift without considering geometry. The lift as I received it consists of Teraflex 4.5" lift dual rate springs, Fox 2.0P RR long travel shocks, stock control arms front and rear with cam bolts in the front lowers.
I've replaced the trashed out track bars with Superlift adjustables; removed the cam bolts and replaced with grade 8 equivalents; installed JKS drop brackets for the front until I can afford a set of quality adjustable arms; installed MetalCloak rear spring correction/retainer brackets in the rear, and plan to get a set of adjustable short arms for the front/rear.
For the steering gear, I'm thinking of going Currie Correct-link with a flipped drag link and TB relocation brackets F&R from Teraflex.
When I first got it, the steering was horrible. I won't say that it was "death wobble", but the improper castor caused it to shimmy and wander into every dip in the road at anything over 45mph, an the track bar in the front was so tatered that the frame-side joint had around 1/32" of jiggle to it.
There's still a steady pull to the left, which I think is just a worn out drag link and tie-rod ends. Otherwise, it seems like it's come around pretty well so far.
looking for suggestions for front and rear arms at this point, with a million more questions to come. I'm not looking to break the bank on this build, as it will spend about 70% of it's time on pavement. That being said, I don't want to build a glass house either...
Cheers! Great to meet you all!

Most of the problems Members have when doing a lift over 2.5" is cheaping out like you say and not getting the adjustable control arms. Most also don't realize that you have to get a alignment done at a shop that knows how to do a alignment on a lifted vehicle.

since you've had TJ's you are going to be pretty up to speed on primary stuff you need to know. JKs are are more of a electrical fun house with all the geometry stuff being quite similar to a TJ.

So what we really need is pictures.

Haven't taken pics underneath yet, but here's the shiny side...
