Help with overheating issue

My 2007 Jeep Wrangler jk 2 door is overheating 187,000 miles on it. Changed the radiator and thermostat still overheating and the lower radiator hose is lukewarm at best. Any suggestions please.

Sounds like you still have air in the system. Why did you replace those items to start with?

I was told by my mechanic. These are things I can do so I did it. T try o get the air out I was going to put the Jeep on ramps to raise the front end then drain the system and then refill it while it’s raised and running. Sound right?

I wouldn't drain it just get the front up on ramps remove the radiator cap and run it
