HELP! Buzzing noise with odd smell

I can’t find anything on this issue I’m having. Often, when I put my 2015 JKU Rubicon into gear, I get a loud buzzing noise. It doesn’t do it every time, but a lot. Doesn’t matter if it’s cold or warm start. It is also associated with a smell that permeates the cab. And the exhaust smells horrible. Here is a video of the noise. Last for less that a minute

Have you gotten under it when it's running and making the noise to see exactly where it's coming from? Mabey a stick or something is shoved up into the flywheel.

Yeah, it’s been hard to do though because it goes off fairly quickly. Sounds almost like a pump type noise

Kind of like a poor combustion smell

You wouldn't have a blown headgasket would you.

Don’t think so. Would that cause the noise? The smell is only there when the noise happens.

Combustion blowing through the weak spot in the gasket, would explain the smell.
