Hi there, Got a 2011 Jk 2.8 auto and recently had an occasional moment where the Jeep won’t change up from 1st gear - but seemed to be fine after a few hundred feet and all normal … now it lets me move into reverse and drive ok but only stays in first gear and can’t manually move it through gears either, also it lurches into drive and reverse from neutral and nothing changes when I move from 2wd to 4h or low dash just says 2wd what ever.
Ran it through JScan and it came up with
U0414 data received from finial drive control module. Also the ‘check engine lights on’
Any thoughts ?? Was suggested to replace transfer case switch ,, any thoughts before I order one
