In the process of installing my diy beadlocks from total metal, I got the wheel mounted, ran a bead of silicone around the inner ring where the bead sits. Put the outer ring on an torqued it to 20ftlbs. Started airing up and once it got above 20 it started leaking from one of the anti coning tabs. Triple checked the torque but continued to leak. Unbolted the outer ring, reset it in a different position and have the same leak. It’s almost like the tab is to tall and not allowing the ring to tighten down properly on the bead of the tire. Has anyone ran into a similar issue with diy beadlocks?
