My wife and I just lifted it up and it slides right in. Right now I have a blanket for it to slide on while I find something more permanent. It stays off just about full time as the Jeep is our 3rd car and my 15 year olds future driver. At least that is what she thinks.

Go to Lowe's or the neighborhood carpet/flooring store and see if they'll sell you a remnant of indoor/outdoor carpet or another low cut carpet. Tack it down around the edges with roofing nails and you're all set. Might set you back $20....
