Ok I miss understood your question I thought you was asking about just buying the motor without the whole assembly.

I'm almost certain you need to fully remove the assembly to get the motor off. If you have any access to the wiper motor, it should just be a couple of 10mm bolts to get the whole assembly off, then you can work on it without having to lean over a hood.
