I just recently got a 2015 wrangler jk and have been trying to find the best things to add to it for a great off roading machine. I plan for a 2.5” lift with 35s but wasn’t sure if I would need to change other parts such as exhaust. I’ve been looking for one that would fit and look good but wasn’t sure what type of exhaust is best for off roading or “on” roading. If anyone has any tips I am all ears. Glad to be a part of this community.

Welcome to the forum! I too have a 15. I have the Pypes cat back system. It is tucked up nice and high, the rear is a single out the driverside rear, and the tone isn't stupid loud.

Your exhaust won't really impact trail runs unless you're doing some pretty gnarly stuff, and even then it's not a terribly important thing to mod.

As far as sound goes, this video does a real good job.

If you're going to 35's, I'd be more concerned with re-gearing the diffs and adding lockers. Then a winch. Those will actually make a difference.
