Engine beauty cover

Is there any threat to the hood/ paint buy not using the plastic cover on the engine? I normally just leave it off but the 3.6L gets hot.

Not really, no. It's a piece of plastic with minimal insulating properties.

I ran mine over, like an absent minded shithead. And I refuse to pay $150 dollars for a used one. That's what these animals ask for them, used!
