Eliminating Wind Whistle in Old School Windshield Lights & Roof Racks

Just a heads up for anyone trying to eliminate that whistling noise from their windshield light setup or roof rack. I applied this adhesive silicone door seal along the length of my old school style JK light mount, and it works. I've seen other posts where people wedge a thicker door insulation or foam between the fins on the back of their LED bars, but this solution can work for the non-LED folks.

I used to hear wind whistling at any speed above 35, but now it's gone!

One more thing to add, just be aware that Amazon is rampant with bootleg 3M products. Some of the stripping I bought came in generic packaging with chinese lettering, and the double sided tape doesn't hold to the rubber as good as the authentic 3m stuff I use at my day job. I'm going to replace the adhesive with VHB tape to ensure the rubber stays in place for a long time.
