Looking to tap into the reverse light wire somewhere near the dash/console instead of running a wire all the way to the rear of the tub, can anyone point me to a good spot to access it?

Probably the easiest place to tap into a reverse wire would be at the tailights, that's where my Backup Camera is activated from.
Mine too, so maybe for my purpose I can just grab that wire that provides the reverse signal to the radio/display.
I'm trying to avoid running unnecessary wires the full length of the tub just to get (reverse-activated) power to a switch for my rear LED lights.
I want to use the reverse as a trigger to activate the 'automatic' mode of a SPDT switch. This switch will allow the rear bumper lights to operate as reverse lights, OFF, or manually on for task lighting at the rear of the Jeep w/o having to be in reverse gear.
I hate extra wires.
