Hoping for some help. I have a 2011 JK Rubicon with 116k miles.
When I first got her I did a full suspension overhaul that included Dynatrac’s HD rebuildable ball joints. Given the miles I figured it was time for a rebuild so I ordered the kit. The problem is the lower ball joint looks nothing like the one shown on their rebuild video. Specifically, the video shows a flat, smooth top with two small allen screws. My lower ball joints not only have a notched top but no allen screws. I have no idea how to get the ball socket out of the housing (the stud came out with the knuckle, which may also be a problem) or if the top someone unscrews like the upper joint does.
I’m including a pic of the lower ball joint for reference. Really hoping someone can help me out.
