So I'm ripping apart the rear tailgate hinges and replacing them with a Morryde hinge and tire support bracket...looking at this gapping vent in the middle and suddenly realizing so this is where all the dust all over everything in the back of our JK is coming from... Question... should I just use a tailgate delete panel and cover it up? Granted I'm bolting the tire carrier on through the delete plate... Or is there a better way? Tailgate is dented up bad in a corner or two...tempted to pull the dents, weld in a patch panel...but I'd rather just bolt something on then spend the next month trying to match flame red for a spot behind a spare. -Mac
