Difficult time cranking when engine is warm

Hey guys/gals. I’ve had my Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited for about six months now. When I wake up in the morning and start my car it ignites fine. But after I’ve driven around and park, then let the Jeep sit for a couple of hours it has a difficult time cranking. After I let off the ignition and give it a 2nd turn it starts up fine. What could be causing this?

Note: after sitting all night it starts fine in the morning but after a couple of hours is when I have difficulty. Thank you in advance!

So it sounds like it's not starting up easily when it's warm, but starts up okay when the engine is cold, correct?

Is it throwing a check engine light by chance? If so, have you scanned it for codes?

Try this: turn your ignition into ON position and wait for 3-5 seconds before you crank the engine.
