Can anyone tell me if not reinstalling the upper manifold brackets on a 2013 jeep wrangler could cause severe issues? I have been having some issues at the dealership last time I had work done they never reattached the upper manifold brackets. The dealership replaced oilcooler and the next day oil was just pouring out of the jeep. I had it towed back to dealership. They had said the bolts stripped out of the head gasket and had to put helicoils in. Oil leak never fully went away and progressively got worse. I decided to bring it back to dealership and they said now it was rear main seal and wouldn't cover repairs after I asked to have them replace the bolts and brackets that they forgot to put back on I get jeep back still no upper manifold bolts or brackets. So I am really curious if that could cause some major problems with the engine and if they should be liable for the repairs.

I would think those parts are there for a reason. Do you have another Dealer in your area that you could take it to and have them check your oil leak. Just don't tell them anything about it just being repaired and have them write you up a estimate. Then if it was something the other Dealer did you will have a good thing to prove they didn't do the job right.
I do I filed a complaint through the state consumer protection bord and jeep also. I have to recoup some money after this last deal with them. I can't even begin to explain the headache I've had with this dealership.
I usually do too but seeing I had a 3rd party warranty I tried to save myself the time and have parts covered by the warranty.
