Check your front brake flex-hose fittings

Long story, will post pics/vids if asked, but Cliff Notes version: the hos/crimp fitting gets chaffed by front tires and rots due to water trapped in factory sleeve put on hose to protect it! Ask me how I know 🙃
 
Ya. I replaced both sides (along w/a full-sys flush/bleed) and took lotsa pics/vids. Sent to NHTSA, we see if it generates a recall. When mine gave out I was on a busy 5-lane and just lucked-out not wrecking. Limped it home on back brakes-only.
 
That is scary. I lost a proportioning valve on my '82 CJ-7 on I-75 south of Atlanta. GR isn't ATL, but the pucker factor was pretty high I bet.
