Hey Large! I know you put in a trans cooler, but you didn't do an oil cooler also, did you? I have a manual (no need for the trans cooler), but I was thinking of doing an oil cooler for mine. Doesn't heat up on flat highway/freeway runs on me. However, going up longer hills/passes, my needle will go to 12 o'clock or SLIGHTLY past middle, which will return back to normal (just before 12 o'clock position) when I'm done with the climb. I know it's fairly normal and within range, but I was thinking of something to go as easy on my 130,000 mi 3.8L. It pulls and climbs like a rockstar with the 4.56 re-gear and Pedal Commander. Or, maybe I'll just add a half-quart of Lucas oil additive or something. I'm open to ideas.... even leaving it.
