Took our second trip with our pop up camper this week and the braking has been fine, without trailer brakes for the 1800-1900lbs (loaded) camper. I'm not in my 50's yet (close) AND I'm dreading getting under there and wiring in the brake controller. I think I might leave it and rather put on some drilled/slotted rotors.
