Today while installing a dead pedal
The forward of the 2 grounding posts snapped.
Are these replaceable?
Thanks in advance for any help This is a stock photo but its the front of those 2 studs with the yellow insulation.
I had enough left to remove broken piece and tighten grounds but not enough for dead pedal.

You should be able to replace those, yes.

You can try to find a replacement stud from a Jeep dealership or an online parts retailer. Just make sure to get the correct part number that matches your vehicle's year and model.

If you're in a pinch and can't source a new stud right away, some Jeep owners have successfully used a small bolt and nut to create a temporary fix. Just ensure it’s properly insulated and has a good connection to avoid any electrical issues.

I think the studs are spot-welded to the panel, so they may be hard to replace (at least the ones on the firewall and inner fenders are).

You can drill a hole and use a nut+bolt. Another alternative would be to drill out and replace the stud with a nutsert. You will want to run a ground strap to this rather than relying on the small bit of metal contact to provide sufficient ground, but it will give you a solid point to attach and detach ground straps as you need.

Decided to drill dead pedal bracket out to fit over the short stud. Gonna go behind that and put a rivnut in. Seems pretty sturdy as is but will add rivnut for extra support tomorrow. Thanks everyone
