Brackets on rear roll bar

I just picked up this 2014. I noticed these two brackets on the rear rollbar. Is anyone know what they’re actually for and is something missing?

Hmm I dunno. My 2013 top has no brackets on the rear section of the bar, only on the tube directly behind the front seats.

Maybe it’s for mounting a hi lift or something?

They're for the soft top. I have the exact same brackets for mounting my soft top on my 15.

My 2014 JKU hardtop doesn't have these. Your picture shows a hardtop as well, do you know if the vehicle was factory delivered with a hard or soft top?

Mine was delivered with a hard top. These brackets are specific to the soft top. I don't remember the brand off hand. If I get a chance I'll see if I can find what brand soft top they go to.
