I had my drivers axle seal go out and needed to replace it. during disassembly the drivers hub and axle shaft were seized together and the hub itself was bad so they both got replaced. after I have put everything back together I now have this chatter noise coming from that side. Is this normal for a little bit or do I need to put differential additive in it? i and afraid to drive it thinking I might damage something and cause a catastrophic failure.

Yes it looks like they did and They are torqued done.

I added some additive to the fluid and it has seemed to help but not all the way. when it goes into 4x4 the noise completely goes away now.

Do you have a Rubicon with the locker in the front, if so yes it needs to have a friction additive added to the gear oil.

Yes that is what I have and added about half a bottle in last night. seems better but still there. Does it take time for that to go away? This was my first time I've gone this far into a diff.
