My 2012 JK wrangler sahara automatic light sensor has quit working. I have searched the internet and cannot find any info on how to replace it. Can anyone tell me how to replace it and where I can find the new part. Thank you
You'd need to have a wiring diagram (which google can provide) and familiarity with reading wiring and using a multimeter. The switch is available most places for around $40. It's an easy enough replacement that I might just swap it rather than try to test the old one, if you're not real good at electronics
I would be willing to replace the switch. Can you direct me to where I can find out how to do this. I don't think so... it's in the middle of the dash, right at the base of the windscreen. It's the little dome thingy.I believe your light sensor is behind your rear view mirror along with the rain sensor. If you look at the back rear view mirror from the outside you will probably see the sensors
I replaced the turn signal switch and the auto light sensor still does not work. I guess the only option at this point is to replace the sensor on the dash. Do you have any other suggestions? Can you point me in the right direction on hoe to replace this sensor? ThanksGoogle and YouTube are your friends.
There are a ton of other videos too.
