I have an 08 Jeep jk, I just bought an 730N RHR out of a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee from ebay and did a install. Plug and play went smooth. It was sold because the back up camera quit working and the seller went aftermarket. I noticed the software is old and would like to update. My question is I get a hdd error when I do the test in engineer mode. I assuming this may be related to the back up camera. Everything else works great am/fm/Sirius plus music off the hdd. The Nav maps are old and I would like to update those as well. Do you all think its safe to update the firmware 2.7 and gracenotes with a hdd error I don't want to brick my new radio.
