Just built my wifes jeep JK and I am having a bit of trouble. 6" lift with 37's and 4.56 gears. When I did it I watched all the videos I could find and found a PDF that had all the Dana 44/ spicer torque specs. So tonight we took it for a short trip for her maiden voyage and got sound from the rear end. Brought her back home, jacked her up, and put her in gear. There is a noise coming from what sounds like the pinion area. Sooo I am guessing that I over torqued the the crush sleeve when I torqued the pinion down. It was a new crush sleeve and I and torqued it down to 25lbs. preload. Any ideas or help would be much apreciated.
