Does anyone have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU that won’t start back after driving it for 30 minutes? Dashboard lights up, but it just won’t turn over or click? I’ve only had mine for two months, and this has left me stranded 3 times now. I’m ready to take back to car max and demand they buy it back.

Yes that doesn’t work either. The only thing that seems to work is waiting 30 to 45 minutes and then it starts right up. 😩

The neutral start switch is located inside the transmission and it must be bad for the reason it won't start when hot.

You could bypass the switch and put a pushbutton starter switch on or else go to a transmission shop and have them change it.

Since you describe a thermal failure. That is after waiting for a period of time it would cool down which in my experience is usually an electronic failure. I think previous posts are spot on that the park switch in transmission allows starter operation but that switch may go to an electronics control module which would more likely be the culprit. Just guessing here, but switches do get intermittent but not thermally so. Electronic components frequently have thermal issues.
