Had my wrangler unlimited to the shop last week and spent over $2300 with parts and labor and still with the same problem. The issue is with the transmission when passing, down shifting and the rpm’s goes up and no noise from the engine but the tach shows 4000 rpm and the gas petal is to the floor and nothing. Last week the mechanic replaced the value body, a/t conductor plate and changed the transmission fluid and filter, changed a wheel sensor and changed out the differential seals due to leaking. When picked up on Saturday it was ok till I drove like 40 miles and doing the same thing when it would not down shift for passing. Anyone know what could be wrong??
