i did the rear seat delete, had no problem removing the passenger side sub woofer panel to get to the seat belt module.

on the drivers side, does the whole thing need to come out? looks like there is an access panel towards the window with 2 thumb like tabs that you supposedly grab and pull to remove the small access panel to get to the seat belt module (makes sense for ease) but i cannot get it off, am i missing something?

Yes. You need to first remove the tie downs. Then ignore those tabs. I don't know what they are supposed to do, but they don't help with this. Stick a trim tool in at the top and start prying your way down. Once you get them separated, you will be notice there is a bolt sticking up. You need to remove the nut. Then everything moves aside and you've got easy access.

They're 10mm, so you might as well go buy a new one before you start.

No I am not talking about the passenger side with the subwoofer. I am talking about the drivers side. I already know to take the tork bolts out from the bottom, the bottom comes loose and then when you pull out the middle part of the panel seems like it is bolted down or maybe cliped in somehow

Way much more work than I wanted to do today. That panel will come off, just not today so I did this lol. I didn't want one rear seat belt just dangling and making noise so I did this just to make it look "nice". I guess one day it'll be of some use when I have some big boxes to haul.

Neither was I.

You mean, by the bolt I told you about? Shocking! I wonder what it could be????

The simple, easy solution then would be to just pull the belt out all the way and cut it.

Top where, facing the panel, very top, left side top, right side top? The panel was loose at the bottom, could not find a bolt. Can you explain with a pic possibly?
