2009 JKU X all power and electrical out.

2009 Jeep Unlimited X 3.8 V-6
I replaced a bad battery and the post clamps and when I turned the ignition key on the Jeep gave a half hearted crank then died. Then all the power went out no lights no signs of life anywhere. I tested the battery and it shows 12.6 I do have a winch that’s powered by the same battery. I did check some of the fuses but no luck. Anyone have any ideas on what got fried? Thanks I’m advance for the HELP

Nothing to the starter. The battery is the only thing that has 12.6

Then your positive cable from the battery to the starter is bad.

Update the new battery terminal clamps had paint on the inside where the wires make contact with the clamp. A little bit of sanding and it was all good. If I only would have taken the time to inspect the clamps before I installed them this would’ve never happened! I’m glad this was an easy fix and Thanks BLACKJKU for your help!!
