So…my son sends a text that the 2008 JK is not running right.
Got a P0300 code and it limps it sounds like.

He also said “the muffler is hanging”

He’s 22 and an E4 101st, and I might strangle him.

Not sure how he lets the exhaust do that.

Any chance that can correlate?

I’m reading new plugs and coil….start there.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks @tJKrider He bought a Ford Ranger so I'm getting this shipped home. Kid can run a machine gun team in the 101st....but apparently working on a Jeep and figuring this out is beyond is capability, ha.

Either way, I'm in for some diagnostic work. He did inform me he drove it from Ft Cambell to south of Nashville and it doesnt' like to go above 50 mph...so I'm super fired up that he did that...but he drove it to that dealership to get a truck.

He's going to get it back up to the base, and I'll get the dang thing shipped home to Texas.

He says it drives...but doesn't want to perform. P0300, so I'm going to get a new set of plugs, coil and wires (and see if the plugs tell me anything).
Needs it either way would be my thought.
