Quick question for you all. My sons engine on his 2007 JK so we’re gonna go ahead and upgrade him before he leaves for college. My mechanic is telling me that rather than scrapping the JK I should be able to sell it for about 5 or 6k with the bad engine. Have any of you try that before and if so where did you find the best way to sell it.

There are People that will do engine swaps on JK's and make them dependable, so one with a bad engine and if the price was right someone would be interested.
