Bought a well loved 2007 JK from a buddy, with no front axle. He kept his RockJock, but I also bought the rear Teraflex HP60.

Built a front SD60 for it using Artec's new Apex swap truss, and tone rings (these were a bitch). Also removed the front RockCrawler long arm and made my own 3link using Teraflex lower arms, RK joints, and 1.25 upper heims with Barnes frame side brackets. New ARB and Yukon

5.38s.

Also got a WK for a donor drivetrain. 2008 WK with a non-VVT 5.7 and 545rfe trans.

Going to do the harness myself but probably buy Jeep Speed Shop's motor mounts to save time. He's also going to flash my VIN onto the Hemi VIN.

It has bsd lifters and possible cam, but I'm going to delete the MDS and run a quite large Comp cam anyhow. I'll probably do a quick refresh of the bearings and rings while I'm in there. Should rip pretty good, the stock 3.8 in these are absolute turds.

Swap went really well. JSS engine and trans mounts, Hotwire harness, custom CBR radiator for the LX style engine. I made my own intake, and passed on the JSS dual battery tray. I may get his tray and intake box in the future to clean it up.

Also got the PSC big bore steering box, AC compressor needed a little mod on the lower bolt to clear.

This was a non-VVT LX/Jeep engine so it's a little different than the truck motor swap, mostly in the throttle body and intake placement. Also used the 545RFE trans. Next swap will use a VVT truck motor and 8 speed trans. I have two more swaps lined up and will post them here as I do them.

Installed an ORO SwayLoc yesterday. Too much sway with both Antirocks front and rear for how I want to drive it on the street. :D I've never driven a lifted JK with stock sway bars, but this thing is a slot car now. It's awesome.

Yup. Swaylocs are better than stock on the road, and amazing (and convenient to disconnect) offroad.

I have a Hellwig in the back but have considered getting a rear Swayloc too. Love my front one.
