What's up everybody? I'm contemplating a few options for upgrading my steel 1 ton tie rod and drag link setup for a 2.5 ton aluminum set up. Front end: PR44, CavFab 1 ton steering, pushed forward 1". I'm currently running 35's and will wheel 37's until I step up to 40's. My question is this: are the tie rod ends similar in size or larger? I've got 3.5" backspaced wheels, and I'm wondering if the joint ends are larger in diameter (along with any issues I can plan for). Trying to save as much wright as possible on my JK, and the "memory" of aluminum is another selling point for me. Also, what clamps for a PSC cylinder assist would fit such a large diameter tie rod? I just don't want to spend money for marginal gain. Thanks for any and all input!
