Hey guys, joined the forum purely to get this fixed.

I don’t want to go in and get it fixed, so if new parts are needed i’ll end up doing it myself, no problem.

So, a few days ago I was driving in the snow, braked a little too hard and a little too poorly in the snow (fully admit it was completely my poor driving) on a heavy snow street, unplowed. I was in 4wd but obviously that doesn’t really matter when it comes to breaking. Ended up skidding and spinning out and loosing control for a bit. Then, the issues came and these lights turned on.

Lights don’t appear when starting the jeep, only once i get to 2nd gear car beeps then lights appear. Obviously, seat belt light is cuz i didn’t wear one when taking the pic lol

Any troubleshooting advice is much appreciated.

thx

oh i should mention the tire pressure light is a different issue. it’s been there for awhile and unrelated. back right is leaking a tiny bit and the sensor is def messed but not related to this.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the negative battery clamp on these is a real piece of junk.
Remove the nut, take off the 'tab' and bend the fingers back such that when the nut is tightend down all the way, the tab FULLY clamps the grip around the battery post.

Be sure to clean the post and clamp as well.

just tried that… def really loose so i’m gonna fs be ordering a new clamp, but didn’t solve this issue :-/

i checked for codes on the odometer, only code is about an incorrect immobilizer key which i think is bc i have an after market remote start and the second key isn’t connected properly

I'm not sure if the codes for that problem will show on the Odometer.

Most auto Parts Stores will scan it for free.

I did have my right rear e-brake disintegrate on me once. When the springs broke it snapped my wheel speed sensor off. Just throwing that out there. 🍺
hmm really interesting. i’ll def check out the sensor and see if it’s still there lol. i completely spun out and hit like a big ice/snow mound so anything is possible tbh

so little update - tysm for all of your help.

so i ended up cleaning the battery and that originally didn’t fix it. but then i started my car the next morning, and the lights never turned back on. not fully sure what fixed it, but hey it’s fixed!

so again thanks for all the help even though my car seemed to fix itself lol

Thanks for the update but i'll bet when you cleaned the battery that was the problem.
