Took her out a few times this last year and started gathering parts for the next phase of the build which will be a 10” rear axle stretch. The rear will be going to coilovers and a double triangulated 4 link. The front will get a 3 link long arm and will be staying on coils and shocks for the forseeable future for simplicities sake.
Most recent upgrades included a 1/2” leveling puck up front to remove the factory rake as well as iron rock offroads trail tamer hydro bumpstops up front. Over a year later and she still rides like a dream. I can confidently hit 80+ mph without any issues.
The baja boss MT’s are my favorite tire so far. They weigh about the same as my 38” nitto’s and seem to grip better as well. Some people say they are prone to sidewall failures but I haven’t seen any personally even with the sticky compound. When I eventually go up to 42’s I’ll probably grab another set of the baja boss. Its a solid all around tire with a thick bead and nice grippy compound that isn’t too loud on the road.
I hit a few local spots in new england but nothing serious. I’m hoping to hit windrock around gsmji with the bleepin jeep crew and a few other friends but we’ll see how things pan out. Fuel is brutal expensive right now.
