Probably a stupid question but I’m a whole week into jeep ownership. But I have 14 2 door with manual windows, locks and mirrors but the doors still have a wired connection that plugs in when they are connected. What’s the purpose of that connection if there’s nothing to power in the door?

Yes, I agree with the above comment. The dome lights are wired just like a regular car. I need to replace the door limiting straps though as the original ones are worn.
