JK wheel speed sensors

Your ABS and ESC won't work like mine hasn't for about 2 years now, and you'll have 3 lights lit up on the dash for it like mine. I heard that the ABS could lock up since it doesn't work if you was to hit your brakes really hard, I don't know if that's true or not I haven't had to hit them hard yet.

Absolutely correct like Blk was saying the abs sensors send messages too the computer noticing any unusual wheel speed differences and disconnecting it will cause brake lock up especially in a panic situation not worh the risk ..
I was looking at the ABS unit and it would be fairly easy to bypass it so you could have old fashion brakes.

With the unstableness of a jeep the oversized tires and the hills we climb and decend I would much rather have the abs then having the wheels lock up and just sliding down the hill
Few weeks back we were headed into Raleigh and the speed limit on the interstate is 70, in other words, everyone was doing 80. Suddenly, 3 cars in front of me some guy tries to squeeze into the fast lane where I was and I saw one car headed for the center divider and I hammered the brakes and for sure thought there's no way I'm not hitting the guy in front of me. Brakes did not lock and I'm fairly certain I could not have squeezed a sheet of paper between our cars.

Good rule of thumb...don't drive no faster then your angels can fly ...been there done that I been driving tractor trailers for 45 years and some of the stupidy people do is breathtaken let alone pulling over too check your shorts..lol
