Front passenger seat belt locking

Hey All,

Is there a way to increase the slack given by a seatbelt before it locks up? Whenever my wife is in the passenger seat the seat belt will lock up constantly. On a drive around the block she has to unbuckle and rebuckle a few times. She does happen to be plus size but it still seems excessive. Any tips? I know the Locking is a security mechanism but we'll never have kids in the Jeep.

Same issue here..so before the passenger gets in pull out the belt .moving the seat will usually unlock it

I hate seatbelts and the feeling of being trapped in a seat ..I use one of these paper holders at the top of the seatbelt which greatly reduces the feeling of being in a straightjacket.when I get out of the jeep and just clip it on the center a/c vent so I don't lose it
