Run2jeepn's JKU Build

Hey I'm guessing your ball joint delete is American iron? How have those been working out for you? Is your rig a daily driver, or just used for offroading?
Sorry for the late reply.

Yes American Iron, Still running them. Still tight as day one as well. It's my Daily Driver/Weekend Warrior.

Spent my Days off finally installing some Christmas gifts I got 2yrs ago.

I installed 2 sets of 4in Leds on the windshield mount and D&C VSL Side Leds.

All wired through a 6 Gang switch panel.

My Dominion Hi-Lift and EVAP relocation kit came in along with the Rock lights. Will be ordering new wheels and tires next week.

Also X-Bull is sending me their new High Speed 13k winch to test out. My Tabor (warn) 9k winch has been great but won't free spool anymore. So hopefully is works out. Being wireless, Synthetic rope and quicker would be a nice upgrade.

Went out exploring a few trails near my house.

Just ordered new wheels and tires. Going from an 18x10 -24 to 17x9 -38.

Going to run the Kanati Mud Hogs 37x12.5x17 wrapped around Dirty Life Canyon Pro Wheels. Went with the Kanati's due to the price and reviews. Paid $248 per tire and when buying all 5 new wheels and tires at once. This saved a ton. I love the old school MTR Tread look.

So I have my old wheels and Tires up for Sale. Tires are low tread. Wheels are in great shape.

Have you done the EVAP relocation yet? I was thinking about ordering it for mine. Is it hard to do or woth the money for the bracket? Thanks

No I haven't yet. There isn't much to it. Going to try and get it on This week or next. I have to install my GateKeeper mounts first. I will be doing a complete How to install for the EVAP Kit. So you'll know what to except.

I got more items in this week. Going to be installing a new Winch from XBull. My Current winch won't free spool anymore. So I worked a deal with XBull on their new Speed 13k winch. It's a cheap winch, but I'll see if it's a bargain deal or not. Time will tell.

Also got a throttle controller from Soler Performance. I had a Dodge Charger and throttle controllers never got good reviews in those groups, but in the Jeep communities. It seems they get over whelming good reviews. So to help my little 3.8L feel more peppy, I'm going to get it a shot.

Out with the Old Tabor 9k winch. Installed my new X-Bull High Speed 13k. So far pretty cool. I like the Remote can be wireless and it has a magnet on it.

Can you expound upon your decision criteria and final decision? I'll be getting one eventually and have looked at Warn VR EVO, Badlands, etc... I've heard of the X-Bull but don't know much about them.
Thx

I liked the idea of a 2 Speed. Along with the wireless and Synthetic Line. I got a screaming good deal, Plus they sent the wrong winch the first time. I got the XPV 13.5k first, They fixed it and shipped the XRS High Speed out ASAP and let me keep the XPV. Which worked out well, because Dads Ramsey winch on his Jeep crapped out. So I have 2 of their winches. His is on a 2004 LJ on 1-tons and 40s. So I'll be testing and reviews both to see how they hold up. Also if we have issues. Be able to test how X-Bull handles warranties and repairs. We have ran Ramsey, Warn and MileMarker winches. All have had issues. I was leaning real heavy towards the Badlands winch, but the 2 speed was the deal breaker.

Also the the Control Box on the XBull can be remote mounted. The Badland is built it. I've been eyeing a couple Frame Cut front bumpers. I've seen a few where guys had to cut their grills to fit a winch. Since they sat back father or where larger winches. Either way I liked the idea I can remove and mount it under the hood if need be.

Planning to get my GateKeeper Knuckle mounts w/ lights done today or tomorrow.

Also going to get my Lockers wired up into my switch panel. Plan is to run Power like normal, but run a Switch inside the Cab that disconnects the ground to them. So I have to flip that switch before the lockers. Hoping that works.
