So need help from car audio guys. Been having a rough time trying to get this thing hooked up. It works when I wire the harness with the wire I have coming from the battery but the problem is, if I leave it like that the subwoofer will always be on draining the battery. Rockville tech guys advised me to hook the blue remote wire to my "power attannae " wire of pioneer but it's not signaling it to turn on when I turn the ignition and car on. I'm stumped guys. I've tried everything. Help will be greatly appreciated

Super hard to show in this picture but I know the problem. The jeep jk 2008 power harness doesn't have a wire for the power attannae remote wire on my head unit to connect to. Soooo I guess the question is is there another place that it's located?

Solved!

So this thread while short and not much discussion hopefully will help somebody with similar problems I had. If you have a jeep jk 08 or around that hear guessing 2007-2011 there is no "power attannae" wire. My after market radio had the red wire labeled ignition switch which when I spliced into it solved the problem. Thank you jeepjeezy. See pic. U have the pioneer dmh 1500nex radio
Most power antenna wires are not a constant 12v. Try hooking the sub wire to your solid red wire in the harness. The red wire is a keyed 12v wire.
