Headlight adjustment

Hi all,
I just installed LED headlights on my 2013 JK and am having trouble adjusting them. The previous lights, likely original, barely lit the road. Following online instructions the lights are aimed way too high, even though that never was an issue before. Backing off the adjustment screw brings the beam down, but not enough. In addition, the light assembly becomes very loose vertically and would easily bounce the beam up and down hitting on any bumps.
I've read about the Mopar Euro adjustment screws ... would these help or could something else be going on?
Any advice is welcome!

Just to be clear, the screw circled in red is the one you're adjusting?

The headlight alignment screws are not attached to the light housing and will not have any effect on how secure the light housing is.
The alignment screws do not have a "head" on them, per se. They are a torx screw and, quite literally, you shouldn't have to adjust them more than a half turn or so- they are ridiculously sensitive.

Yes that's it. I got into it a little deeper after removing the grille and could see what was happening.
The adjustment screw effectively has a "groove" between two "shoulders" on the screw at the outside/torx end. The plastic housing, to which the light is attached, has a hole that is supposed to be retained in this groove. This way as the screw is turned, with the other end threaded into a non movable piece attached to the frame, it will move the housing in or out to adjust the light beam up or down, while still holding it firmly in a fixed position.
The problem was that the hole in my right side plastic housing had enlarged so that it could still push the light out but could not pull it back in, so it was always loose on the screw. I McGivered a solution by removing the screw completely, putting a small washer on the threaded part closed to the torx end, then inserting the other end through the hole from the outside. This provide a means to pull the housing in. I then threaded a plastic M5 nut from the threaded/inside end so it was up against the inside of the housing. This allowed the housing to be moved out by turning the screw.
On the right side I was able to force the hole in the plastic housing back into the groove on the screw and it's working again, at least for now.
Lights are now aligned and all is good. Sorry for being long winded. Thx .

Your response and solution probably took longer than adjusting the headlights.

Glad you got it resolved.
